Random Reads is a monthly meme hosted by i'm loving books.
The aim of this meme is to randomly select a book from your to-read
list once per month and then read it at some point during that
particular month. It serves as an attempt to choose the books that
don't get picked first, but that you still want to read eventually!
My January Random Read: Persephone by Kaitlin Bevis
For January's Random Read, I randomly selected my book
by sorting my to-read shelf on Goodreads and then using
random.org to select a random number and . . . voila! It
chose #137, which is Matched by Ally Condie!

Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right
choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to
believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her
Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete
certainty that he is her ideal mate...until she sees Ky
Markham's face flash for an instant before the

The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare

I want to read this book too! Well I think I am going to pick one of my books this way too, I mean there are lost of books that I want to read but I haven't got the opportunity because I got busy with other books.
ReplyDeleteI've heard this book is really good and have had it in my "to-read" shelf for awhile now. Yeah, you should. I like this idea, because it picks books that I may not have picked first...plus, it's hard to decide which book to read next (assuming I have a choice). Thanks for stopping by! :)
DeleteI really need to participate in Blind Reads again! I've only done it once and that was in like June of last year! Hmm, maybe I'll join in in March.
